Alistair Yeldon is organising club stand at Snetterton on Saturday 9th April.
Gate prices are as follows: £15 for adults and £10 for senior citizens. Children under a certain age will be free. Members are asked to commit by getting their tickets pre ordered online, as this will be cheaper. Saturday is classics day, with the CSCC Adams & Page Swinging Sixties (1960s), Classic K (Pre-1966 FIA) and Advantage Motorsport Future Classics series (1970s and 1980s) plus the new for 2016 CSCC Meteor Suspension Open series which sees competitors from the whole weekend coming together to race against each other, including cars that don't quite 'fit' the other series regulations. Alistair plans to arrive early on the day to set up the shelter/flags etc and suggests that members arrive at around 09:00 for the start of qualifying. We are to be positioned trackside at Murrays where usually spectators can watch from their cars should the weather turn bad, but sadly no parade lap. Still we will all be able to walk around the paddock and talk to the teams, or take up another vantage point elsewhere. More details from www.snetterton.co.uk or Alistair Yeldon 07990 586838

|St Ives Carnival|
Building on the 2015 event, this year there will be a revised field layout, and they are looking to add a craft market, a larger number of food stalls and a children's area. The (optional) parade kicks off at 11.30am and the field will be open 1pm to 9pm. Obviously that's quite late so there is an earlier departure time available of 5pm. Vehicle movements will be carefully controlled outside of these times because of the number of people present.
Click here for the booking form. It's the same form the traders use, so ignore all the stuff about payments and insurance and simply put your make, model, year and registration in the details box.
