JanTue 1 | Barrington STOP PRESS: The organisers tell us the green is too wet to use so parking will be very limited for both classics and visitors. You may still be able to park on the road or at the Royal Oak but there won't be a lot of room. Start 2013 in style with a fabulous selection of classic cars, good company and perhaps a drink to stave off the chill. Meet on the road opposite The Royal Oak in Barrington and don't forget your hat and scarf! See some pictures from last year |
JanWed 9 | Club Night: Noggin' and Natter Nothing planned for tonight, just a get together for a chat and to talk about the year ahead. |
FebWed 13 | Club Night: Guest Speaker from the IAM We've got plans for a guest speaker from the Institute of Advance Motorists. More details to follow. |

Please arrive in time for an 8pm start (so leave time to get your drinks in), or join us from 7pm for a pre-AGM meal - the CGCC has a fine selection of meals and bar snacks. To kick us off, the Clinical Director of the Rosie Maternity Hospital will be along to collect our charity donation. |
AprSun 21 | Drive It Day Meet at Trumpington Waitrose for 10am. JunSun 30 | Sutton Feast Following on from last year's successful (if very wet event), the Sutton Feast team are again hosting a "Best of British" classic car display, with no age limit. Call Ian Wells on 01353 774394 for more details. Spaces are limited and filling up fast, so please get in touch ASAP. It all starts at the Brooklands Centre in Sutton (Post Code CB6 2QQ) at 9.30 am prompt. The cars will be marshalled into year order ready for the road run culminating in a display on the (closed) High Street. |
JulWed 10 | Club Night: Car Park Concours Another annual tradition, this club night gives you the opportunity to have a good look around each other's cars with a trophy for the most popular car on the night. |
JulSat 13 | Manea Gala Every year Manea holds an Annual Gala and the whole village joins in - from the Scouts with their BBQ stall, to the local community groups on their elaborately decorated floats to the WI manning the cakes and refreshments in the pavilion. There is always a good car display of upwards of 60 cars, including some from the North Cambs / Wisbech area you might not normally come across. The cars are organised by club members Michael and Yvonne Philpott and the CDCCC will again be taking the club stand. Please contact Michael on 01354 680615 if you wish to attend and don't forget to mention the club. Entrance is free for classic cars and it's a fun family day out - plus there's always the nearby "Ouse Washes" RSPB reserve too. |
JulSun 14 | Kimbolton Country Fayre One of the best shows of the year and probably our biggest club stand. See http://www.kimboltoncountryfayre.com/ for more details. Get your tickets from Steve Sims. This year we are on Plot 12 (which is different to our usual plot), so please check this map. |

AugSat 24 AugMon 26 | Fenland Country Fair, Quy See http://www.fenlandfairs.com/. The club stand will only be present on Monday. Cars must arrive between 8.30am and 9.30am (ideally before 9.00am) to get free entry, otherwise the normal entrance fee will be charged. Enter by the first (church) entrance (not via Station Road) and look out for Steve who will pull you out of the line and direct you to our stand. We will be on the Shooting Field. |
SepSat 7 | HCRFM Live in the Park This event is something slightly different for the club. Huntingdon Community Radio are hosting a live music event in the centre of Huntingdon and the club will be taking the stand and a few cars along. We hope to spread the word about the club and reach an audience who might not normally come to a car show. Volunteers to bring a car and man the stall would be most welcome. The show is 12 noon to 4 pm. Please contact the club Chairman, Jonathan Pallant, for more details. |
SepWed 11 | Club Night: Bring and Buy Auction Slightly earlier in the year that in 2012 so we have a bit more light in the evening in case things overrun! Bring your unwanted items and we'll auction them off to raise money for our charity of the year. |
