Club Meeting
Because the January Meeting is traditionally fairly light in attendance, our first 'meeting' of the year is now at the classic car show on the village green in Barrington, Cambridgeshire. There are normally 150 - 200 cars in attendance, so it's well worth braving the weather.

Preview of new Club Venue
Our first official meeting of the year is at Barrington, and the first official meeting at Papworth is in February, but if you want a practice run to our new venue, Roger will be at Papworth on this date.

Club Meeting - Naff Toy Competition
The inaugural meeting at our new venue, The Conservatory, Papworth. Please see the link at the top of the page for a map. There will be a Naff Toy competition - bring a naff toy and we'll have a laugh and vote on the naffest!

Chairman's Lunch
The Committee's annual lunch, celebrating the efforts of one of our club members. This year, Brian and Sylvia Radwell were taken for lunch at The Black Bull, Godmanchester.

Club AGM
Our Club Annual General Meeting. Vote for your 2011 committee and hear how we've done through the year. Hopefully, we'll be able to present our charity collections to MAGPAS on the night. A buffet will be available.

CDCCC Run and Lunch (Part of FBHVC Drive It Day)
Our annual event to celebrate Drive It Day by the FBHVC, this year in held in conjunction with the Austin 7 Owners Club. Get to Waitrose, Trumpington for 10.30. Head off at about 11am on a run around South Cambs villages to Cambourne. Once there, members will be getting lunch from The Monkfield Arms, or Morrisons. You can book a table at The Monkfield Arms by calling 01954 718914 and mentioning the club.

Club Treasure Hunt
Start at the Riverside Car Park in St Neots at 9:45 to leave by 10:00 prompt. See for details.
The distance is 30 miles with a view to completing by around 1pm and any walking is minimal and on level surface. There will be a place the stop for a drink half way round and the final destination is at a place where you can anything from a sandwich to a full roast dinner.

Club BBQ
Another event not to be missed with great hospitality, good food (£3 per head) and the famous CDCCC gymkhana! We are again holding this at Fred's house, Kingsacre, 3 Station Road, Bluntisham, PE28 3LL (see map) starting 12 for 1 pm. Fred's house is just on the St Ives side of the petrol station on the main road in Bluntisham.

Help setting up the marquees, Salads and puds gratefully received.

Club Run to Stondon Motor Museum
Meet at the Polhill garden centre at Coton ( at 10am for a cup of tea prior to a drive out to the motor museum at Stondon, near Henlow. A route will be issued taking in some quiet back roads through rolling countryside.

Steve has negotiated entry at £5 and a free tea or coffee on arrival. There is a small cafe for snacks or bring your own picnic to eat in the car park.

Somersham Carnival
The theme this year is 'The Circus’. Assemble at the Millenium Field Car Park on the Trundle, Somersham at 11.45 for 12.15 parade. Please access the car park via Foeffes Road, which is first right after Cole and Day garage, then onto the Trundle, should be signposted.

Kimbolton Country Fayre
An annual club favourite with one of our largest club stands. Entry this year is £8, payable on the gate. Brian Radwell will have our special club stand tickets, so let him know (or email Steve on and we will dish them out when they arrive from The Sporting Bears. Cambridge Classic Run
The Cambridge Classic Car Club (not us, the other car club in Cambridge) are having their annual 'run'. Starting from Moulton Village Hall with a cup of tea and a bacon roll, they will follow a route of approximately 65 miles mainly on ‘B’ or main roads through rural Suffolk ending at Pakenham Water Mill, where tea and cake will be served and you will have a chance to look around the Mill.
